There are lots of things I would rather turn a blind eye to... than thinking about them and bleeding my heart out.
the new bridge over mula-mutha river for example.
Here I am ,lying on the grass in the bund garden, looking at the trees. Its amazing how the evening light blurs itself out in their bosom. They look straight of a gothic novel. These tired birds returning to their denizens make enough noise to have the whole world hear, but still its pleasenter than any music you would pay for.
I look around and see people who have found peace within themselves just by connecting to nature, who smile in spite of themselves.
And then I look at the river and the upcoming bridge, the huge iron structure ,and my heart gives a lurch too painful to hide.
After this bridge comes up,where will the garden go?What will hapeen to these birds? How will the additional traffic be tackled ?Why dosen't the PMC have a heart?
And I hide my head in sand, afraid of the answers
