Sanskrit and sanskriti

We say hindi is our national language. But the whole country is divided on the issue. Maharashtrians like their marathi, people down south don't understand it. Most amongst youth find it a fad to say they don't understand it.
Hindi is a beautiful language. As lyrical as any romance language. But the point I am presenting is not on hindi, its on sanskrit.
Sanskrit is mother of most of our indian languages. Its gramatically strong and absolutely pure. Scientists recognize it as the best language for computers.
Across nation, all states have respect for the language.
Then where did it fade away with time? We might say since it wasn't ever a spoken language ,it died with time. But who says it can't be brought back to life? Didn't Israelies bring hebrew back to spoken standards? People even say that kids taught their parents to make sure everyone became well versed with it.
Even english is a foreign language. But look how proficient Indians are at it . I strongly believe that if its promoted properly ,it can become the nation uniting language that hindi hasn't been able to.
