le maquillage:c'est necessaire?

If all "a la modes" were asked what's the burning national issue,we will all surely say -the rising price of cosmetics. Poor us..when we see our whole month's salary getting annihilated in a 3 square inch face compact ..only we know how it feels...but then we tell ourselves(raising our chins,of course) ..that it's worth it.

But then...you know guys! They will make ho-hum of how long you take to "paint "yourself....even though they don't realise that the supposed seedhi saadhi girl next door they have a crush on..who "wears no make-up" and still has "a flawless skin " ...is actually leading her father to bankrupsy with some latest brand of foundation .

One of my friends,Nupur , believes that all gals are walking talking adverisements of asian paints. Gave me a wild idea on ....what other(think ! think !)..what other uses can our precious products be put to....I present my ideas(if you feel like killing me,you can always blame the original source of the idea)

1.kaajal...shoe polish
2.Compact ...the limepowder for whitewash
3.lipgloss... the polish for woodwork
4.Nailpolish ... polish for woodwork


I know my ideas are at the best raw(no stone pelting please!)....you can suggest me better ones.

Some how i believe, as far as make -up is concerned the famous saying in french holds true--- the more it changes ,the more it remains the same...as in , try painting yourself as much as you can .... dosent really matter, you will still remain your original rapunzel or the ugly duckling .
